So your suggestions to quit attending football games is the answer. Anytime you want to go talk to our AD or our new President to be, I'll go with you. Posting on this board obviously is getting the program no where. Again, name the time I'll go with any of you to talk to whoever you feel will help our school. If not just give up and go support LSU.

Some of the people you’re talking to have attended Tech athletic events for 40-50 years, bought season tickets to all major sports and were LTAC members for 20+ years. And some of us had years where we attended every football game, home and away.

We did our part, and Tech squandered it all.

And many of us have run suggestions up the flagpole multiple times, not just on a chat page. Until the Jr High level giveaway they just did, I’m not sure I have ever seen our admin make any effort. Why make suggestions if nothing ever changes. The definition of insanity is thinking Tech will listen.

I graduated from Tech in 1970. My family and I have attended as many football games, basketball games as you or any anyone else on this board. Do not even go there. My Granddaughter is the 3rd generation of our family to attend Tech. My displeasure with the direction of our football program does not translate to "no shows" for me. I will be there Saturday for Homecoming to cheer on our Dawgs. I will meet with any of you to discuss what can be done for OUR school. To fact you question my loyalty vs the "I'm not going" or "I quit". Please. Cut me and I bleed Tech Blue and Red. IF nothing else come to game to honor Smoke Harris and the other Seniors.

I will be at the coming game, largely because my kids enjoy it and they don't know what a bad team looks like. I expect to pay too much to see a program that may never recover and that has shown no interest in turning things around.

BTB is booming and like this board used to be, you guys should come over. I think you'd enjoy it. I got hooked on Tech athletics here. I used to keep up with both boards but the content and articles from BTB are hard to keep up with on its own and worth every cent. We need to revive this place too, it has been too good for too long and hooked so many into becoming Tech fanatics.

If the administration would quit screwing around and act like athletics was a business, this board would flourish again because a steady diet of positive news would flow through here!

Agreed. I wish any of us believed that would happen. It is very sad to see the state of TECH athletics- but hey, we have a great women's bowling team. We are a shell of what we used to be in athletics. Money is a huge part of that, but very poor hires and lack of athletic vision by the last 2 presidents has killed us.

I will not renew my tickets until Cumbie is gone. I had 5 tickets for 15 or so years, and now 3 for the last 3 years. We will not be missed, but I will not go back to a game with Cumbie as coach. I used to try to give them away is we had to miss. No one wants them any longer.
