If we blow this one it will be because of lousy FT shooting...again. IF we blow it, that is.

Great road win
I. Crawford with 30 pts and he carried us to victory. He was 5 of 5 from the FT line, rest of the team just 10 of 19, whoa. Didn't hurt today but it will in tougher games to come.
We need a PG.

Great team win! Yes Crawford has a great game. Our Bench came up with key plays defensively and offensively. I like the chemistry of this team. Liberty beat SHS. So we should be tied for 1st. Next week the TAC should be rocking. Hope to see fellow BBBs especially DeWayne from Minden.
Three-way tie for first, Tech, SHSU, and New Mexico State are all 3-1 in league play. Have to hold serve at home, run the table at home, win the games we should win on the road, and maybe steal one on the road, like @NMSU @WKU @Liberty, grabbing just one win out of those three road games would be huge.
It's all coming down to the conference tournament as CUSA is a one-bid league. We need to be healthy and playing our best ball come March.
Did I see some stats the other day that basically said Newman is at or near the top of the conference from a numbers standpoint? I can’t remember what it was or where. May have been on “X”. The eye test shows us he dribbles into trouble a lot and loses control. He picks up his dribble 18 feet from the bucket in the baseline before an outlet can rotate back to him. J Crawford has regressed - really need to look at spreading his minutes else where
Terry Miller seems to be coming around - really has soft hands and a nice passing touch
UTEP will be interesting - they always play us well in Ruston and are usually big and physical

Phil Mickleson was the last amateur to win a PGA event back in 1991-until yesterday. This could be our year!
