    Louisiana Tech 2-2 vs. Texas A&M 2-1 - 7 pm
Why to watch: Offense. Louisiana Tech has one and Texas A&M doesn't. Defense. Texas A&M has one of the nation's best and Louisiana Tech doesn't. Put La Tech QB Luke McCown on Texas A&M and the Aggies are undefeated and a true national title contender.
One reason why Louisiana Tech might win: If the Bulldogs can somehow find a way to get up by ten points, A&M might not be able to get back into the game. The play calling duties have been taken away from A&M's Dino Babers as the Aggies are looking for any sign of life for the nation's 104th rated scoring offense.
One reason why Texas A&M might win: The Aggies are number two in America in total defense giving up 228 yards per game and fifth in scoring D giving up 10.7 points per game. Tech struggled against Penn State and Clemson's defense. A&M's is far, far better.
Matchup/Players to watch: Texas A&M RB Derek Farmer tried to spark the offense, but he could only gain 22 yards on 12 carries against Virginia Tech. Defensive lineman Ty Warren almost single-handedly beat the Hokies and should be in McCown's face all game long.
What will happen: The Bulldogs will struggle to score, but so will A&M yet again. The Aggies are trying to do anything to shake up the offense, so don't be shocked if one of the darts hits the board at some point and they actually score.
Must Watch Rating (5 must see - 1 watch all those Dr. Phil shows you TiVod): 3
    Line: Oasis Line: Texas A&M -12 | NASA line: Texas A&M -12
    CFN Prediction: Texas A&M 24 ... Louisiana Tech 10

National Notebook: Aggies take offense to lack of production

It's hard to remember the last time a major college program "reorganized" its staff in the middle of the season. That's what Texas A&M is calling offensive coordinator Dino Babers' demotion in light of a horrible offensive performance this season.

Receivers coach Kevin Sumlin will now call plays. The 13-3 loss to Virginia Tech was the last straw. Coach R.C. Slocum didn't hold back, saying he would have thrown more than 11 times in the first half against the Hokies. The Aggies produced a paltry 156 yards and slipped to 106th in total offense among the nation's 117th I-A teams.

That's exactly where the Aggies finished nationally last season.

"I have been concerned and disappointed with the production of our offense," Slocum said.

Babers is the third offensive coordinator under Slocum to be relieved of his duties. Bob Toledo (after 1993) and Steve Ensminger (after 1996) were fired.

It would sure be nice to shock the Aggies Saturday. On TexAgs.com if someone mentions the possibility that Tech might win, the majority of the posters go ballistic. They think it's blasphemy to even consider that possibility. They've called us everything but a football team over there. Of course, if we do win, we'll get no credit because they'll blame it all on a poor performance by their team. Not all the Aggie posters are like that. We've had a couple of courteous ones stop by and say nice things on our board. But it would sure be nice to be able to shut up the ones who have absolutely no respect for us.

    Go Dogs. Beat the Aggies!!!!!!!!
