    The NCAA released graduation rates for all schools Thursday. The numbers are based on scholarship student-athletes entering school in 1995-96

    Don't they count transfers against you? All those guys that went to UCA to play for Clint probably didn't help our numbers any.

    i believe graduation rate is the percentage of scolarship athletes that graduate within five years of enrolling as a true academic freshman. so they have to start at your school and graduate there within 5 years. if they transfer away, that counts against you. if they transfer to your school, they don't count at all, i think. some colleges have a much better graduation rate among athletes than among the general student population, so it really doesn't tell you much. it doesn't tell you anything about the number of students who actually graduated.
