Wouldn't it be nice to have $57 MILLION to spend on our stadium?

Amazing what a little fundraising will get you...

...The stadium was designed in the Collegiate-Georgian style that is consistent with the rest of SMU's campus. There are 32,000 seats, and the stadium has the possibility of expansion to 45,000 by converting the stadium's horse shoe shape into an oval. There are 240 preferred club level seats and 240 more seats in 23 luxury suites, loaded with extras such as televisions, air conditioning, and refrigerators. Also housed in the three-level press box will be a working press area that can accommodate 125 working print, radio and television media...

...The Paul B. Loyd, Jr. All-Sports Center is attached at the northwest corner of the stadium. The 124,000 square foot facility hosts the offices and locker rooms for the Football, Track & Field, and Soccer teams, as well as built in space for a yet-to-be-added sport. On the lowest level is the weight room where all the student athletes train. It also holds the Altshuler Learning Enhancement Center, facility staffed with tutors and study aids, offered free to all SMU students...

...The $57 million stadium and all sport center is the crowning jewel of SMU's Capital Campaign, a fundraising effort that has been enormously successful, and includes many new buildings, and major renovations to much of the rest of campus.
