Uh oh is Right!!!!
Of the approximate 20 folks in my party, about 19 of them have stated, very clearly, that they are NOT going to sit in the RAIN to watch the game!!!! I guess I'll be there in my slicker... I'll have to disown my family and friends!! 8O
I have a nice BLUE one...Originally Posted by Tech77
Guys, I have lived in Dallas since I graduated in 75, I don't listen/believe a weather report for the next 24 hours, much less 72 hours. keep the faith. It's perfect here today. It may be snowing on Saturday.
Update from the Dallas area at 5:30 PM Wednesday.
Now they are saying it will ALL BE GONE by noon Saturday, so no one stay away because of the weather!!
There are PLENTY of things to do Friday night and Saturday AM if it's raining in Dallas.
I predict the sun will be in and out by kickoff Saturday, and it will be 70 degrees!!
I am guessing the best scenairo will be for the rain to stay in the clouds until the golf tourney is over, Drop like wild late Friday night(don't want it to rain on the Colleyville Heritage game vs. Trinity) and then be outta here by about 9 or 10 Saturday am...
Yeah, that's the ticket!!!
Trinity is a mighty good football team, that will make for a nice weekend for you. There is nothing liked high school football.
Latest forecast from Weather Underground looks a little better:
----
Saturday
Showers and thunderstorms likely...mainly in the morning. Some thunderstorms may contain heavy rainfall. Windy. Highs in the upper 60s. Chance of rain 70 percent.
Mem,
Am I remembering correctly or is your Dad a coach at CHHS? I 'll be at the game. I played at Trinity. I still go to a few games each year. This will be the game of the year. The winner will easily win that district. I think they are both ranked in the top-3 in the metroplex.
Rain will be gone by tonight. Looking good for Saturday!
Rain? What rain? The dawgs will have us all seeing sunshine on Saturday afternoon!!! :drum:

I just looked at the latest radar pictures. There is a little more rain that looks like it could hit this morning (not heavy) and then a HUGE clearing after that. I think the weather is going to be fine. In fact, I think it will clear off a about 4 hours before game time with just some cloudy conditions for the rest of the morning. That will give time for the ones that are deciding to go ahead and go. I just hope people in Ruston will look at the radar and not go by what it is doing outside their window in choosing whether to go or not.
