Perhaps we should take a page out of the UNT book and leave him as a "stealth" recruit.

    Just a thought...

He was at the game Saturday. He had on a letterjacket that looked like Texas A&M, only it was A&M high school and the name Myatt on the back. He was visiting with Scobee and his mom and others after the game.

My vote is in and he's blowing everyone else away! 80% and no one else is even close. That is one heck of a game.

Every school releases commitments early in the year now to draw more interest in there school.. Look at other schools in the WAC they all have around 5 to 10 commitments. Look for SMU to be a force in the future. They are cleaning up!

I bet we land a bunch of underachieving props!

I hope he doesn't switch commitments. SMU offered him after he verbally committed to us. They said they are going to leave the offer open for awhile.

Of course I voted for Zach Myatt.

This young man has been lock-step with us since he publically committed. He's been to our games and could have sat anywhere he wanted to at the SMU game, but he was right in the middle of the Louisiana Tech fans.

Since Zach already has 2 or 3 firm scholarship offers he could have stayed at home last Saturday instead of sitting in the drizzle with us. I like the character he's shown thusfar.

Zach is now trailing the RB from San Antonio 50.17% to 48.62%! Everybody get over to the site and vote. We need to show support to this guy, especially for commiting to us early!

Keep voting guys. I talked to someone last night that is close to Myatt and he tells me he is very excited to come to Tech. Let's show him we support his decision and make him player of the week!!!! By the way, that same person reminded me that it is harder for kickers to be recognized for this type of award against QB's, RB's, etc. So, this is a statement for Myatt. Good Luck!!!
