WEATHER PUSHES START OF “FALL WORLD SERIES” BACK ONE DAY

RUSTON - The recent inclement weather will delay the start of the Louisiana Tech baseball team’s “Fall World Series”. The first game will now be Wednesday at 6 p.m.

The squad will split up into a "Blue" team and a "Gray" team. First year head coach Wade Simoneaux and his staff will split up the seniors equally and then the seniors will draft the remaining players.

The seniors will manage the teams during the seven game series where all seven games will be played.

This is the first year that Tech has conducted a "Fall World Series" at the end of the fall practice period. It provides an excellent opportunity for the coaches to evaluate the team in a competitive situation.
