HAWAI‘I ACCEPTS BID TO CONAGRA FOODS HAWAI‘I BOWL – Hawai‘i became the first team in the country to receive and accept a bowl bid after beating San Jose State on Saturday night. The Warriors will play in the inaugural ConAgra Foods Hawai‘i Bowl on Dec. 25 in Honolulu. The opponent will be a team from Conference USA. Last year, Hawai‘i was the only team in the nation with nine wins that did not participate in a bowl game.

Can they do that already?

It's in the bowl contract. If Hawaii has a winning record they get invited. If the Warriors don't qualify then another eligible WAC team gets the bid.

Must be nice to contract out your own bowl game regardless of the other good teams in the country that get screwed and stay home for Christmas with 7-5 records.

If Tech had that deal, I wouldn't complain.

EJ why don't you work on getting Tech that kind of deal with the Galleryfurniture.com bowl in Houston? I'll take that. If they give us the snub then I know the Indy Bowl would jump as high as we ask for a deal like that! 8O

I'll have my people get to work on that!
BTW, Where have you been? Don't you know it is now the HOUSTON BOWL!

Who designed the avatar with state and T on a blue egg or football or whatever?
Congratulations! That is clean and simple and acceptable. Is it part of the new deal of trademarks for Tech?
