Maybe we have a better chance at a bowl than we thought. For Tech to go (assuming we win out, or just lose one) some deals would probably have to be made. But it is nice to know that Boise's sucess might give the WAC some bargining power. Be nice to see a deal where several bowls/conferences worked something out so that we could stay close to home (maybe Boise to Seattle, some MAC team to Bosie, us to Mobile - although I can't see the H-bowl going for a MAC team over the hometown team). Anyway, first we have to handle business on the field. I'd love to see 4 WAC teams go to bowls (again, business must be handled on the field first).

Then again, things are so iffy with the near eligilbe teams that Tech could be playing Fresno for the SVC bid on ESPN. How nice would that be? Making a bowl at 6-6 and NOT as conference champion. Couldn't have done that as an Indy or in the Sun Belt. There is a mathematical possibility of Tech, Fresno and Nevada NOT being eligible. It requires a Tulsa or UTEP win, but it IS possible.
