Jack Bicknell III's Contract

There's been varying information stated on BB&B about Jack Bicknell III's contract. Bicknell definitely has a 5-year contract: (3 years remaining on original contract + 2 years extension) at a minimum of $200k/year.

Per The NCAA News & The BR Advocate from early 2002:

BICKNELL TO GET TWO-YEAR EXTENSION, RAISE: Louisiana Tech football coach Jack Bicknell III, whose team won the Western Athletic Conference championship, will get a two-year contract extension and a raise.

Bicknell had three years remaining on a five-year contract that paid $175,000 a year. In addition to the extension, Bicknell will get an annual raise of $25,000.

Bicknell led Tech to a 7-5 record and a spot in the Humanitarian Bowl the Bulldogs' first year in the WAC.

Will we survive the WAC with Bicknell at the helm? I guess 5,000 people at the UTEP game!! It would be hard to pay spectators the price of admission to attend this game!
