How many wins do you think the Dawgs will have during the regular season? I think there are 26 games, counting only one for NIT and one for the "ESPN Bracket Buster". Please indicate your "realistic" expectations.

    I voted 16 to 18 -

The main reason will be guard play - Gerrod and Marco will be HARD to replace as a tandem...

Both would take the big shot and both could handle the ball in pressure situations and then MAKE the free throws at about a 80% clip in the waning moments of a ballgame...

I don't see anyone RIGHT now who will be able to handle that type of pressure in a close ball game...

Not having Barry Thompson - who was slated to fill that void - will hurt...

Free throw shooting is this team's achilles heel...

I agree with Dwayne that if we don't come up with what I call a "closer," we will not win more than 18. However, if someone steps up, we can do it.

By the way, does anyone have information as to why Dean got so little playing time against VASDA?

Looking at the schedule I think we'll win 19-21. That's if we take care of our home court as we should.
