:thumbsdo: Is that a typo or is that what we really shot tonight? Thompson would have really helped. I knew we wouldnt be a great shooting team this year but I never expected this.

Big Dog
23.1% (12-52) from the field for the game and 4-26 (15.3%) in the 2nd half.

If a couple of guys don't step up offensively it will be a long season. Every team we play is going to double and triple team Meeking and make someone else score.

Whew! Now that was a creepy game. But it told me more about our team:
At this point, Wilder cannot be leaned upon for a substantial offensive showing night-in/night-out. He obviously has had that responsibility placed upon him, and he can't handle it. He has to go back to a 4th or 5th option.
Dean can be a scorer. I feel like we have no other choice than to turn him loose. He needs to shoot as much as Henderson did last year. He is a good passer out of the double team (when he draws defenders on a penetration). He is also a "rhythm" player--he needs a certain amount of shots to get going. I say, let him shoot until he gets tired, then, rest him and let him shoot some more.
If Johnson and Powell can't wake up offensively, pull the redshirt off of Johnston. I know he can hit a jumpshot. In fact, he's got a number of inside moves as well. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
We can still be a competitive team. And there is nowhere to go but up from here. These embarrassments will either strengthen us or break us. I'll be surprised if we break.
