Cambridge, MA - Junior Beverly Moore (Monroe, LA) started the scoring, sophomore Reka Cserny (Budapest, Hungary) stepped up in the middle, and junior Hana Peljto (Brooklyn Park, MN) sealed the deal, as Harvard won its fourth consecutive game, 70-58, over Dartmouth, on Saturday evening at Lavietes Pavilion.

Harvard (11-4, 2-0 Ivy) won its second game against the Big Green (5-7, 0-2) this week and remains undefeated in the young Ivy League season. The Crimson defeated Dartmouth 56-53 on January 4.

The Crimson took a 5-3 lead two minutes into the game and never trailed again. With the score tied 13-13, Harvard went on a 27-14 run, paced by the outside shooting of Moore, who led all Harvard scorers in the first half with 10 points on four-of-six shooting from the field including two three-pointers.

The Crimson led 40-30 at the half, due in part to the containment of Dartmouth senior Katharine Hanks. Leading the Ivy League with 20.8 points per game, Hanks did not score a point until 27 minutes into the game.

Dartmouth closed the gap to 47-41 with 12:57 remaining, but Harvard went on an 11-2 run to move out to a 56-41 lead with just over 10 minutes to play. Dartmouth did not come closer than nine points for the remainder of the game, as Harvard cruised to a 70-58 win.

Peljto led the Crimson scoring with 17 points, including four free throws in the final two minutes. Cserny posted a double-double, tallying 16 points and 10 rebounds, and Moore and junior Tricia Tubridy (Broad Channel, NY) rounded out the double-digit scorers with 10 points each. Dartmouth's Angela Soriaga led the Big Green scoring with 13 points.

Harvard improves to 10-4 overall, 2-0 in Ivy play. Dartmouth falls to 5-7 overall and 0-2 in League action. The Crimson will return to action on January 31 when it hosts Princeton.
