I read somewhere that Kevon Bagot plays G and would be an inside lineman. I imagine Alton Bryant or Tramissian Davis will be moved to Z receiver over Lewis Carter/Newman or Holland just b/c none of them have experience or know the play book yet. Holland, Bagot and all the other JCs won't be here for spring except Lester Brown and Johnny Jackson. Not sure who will be playing there. I wish D williams, J Wishom, or Burrell would step up and challenge Brazil this year for PT. IT sounds like it will be hard to keep Eugene off the field when he gets here so I expect him to start at one CB.

i was hoping to see some more size on defense, but i dont think we have enough big guys to play all across the line. our de's will all be 235 to 255 lbs. and our linebackers will mostly be 5-11 to 6-1. Bryon Young would add some real size 6-1 250 if they decide not to redshirt him. Eugene will add size at one corner but brown and brazil will still be small on the other side. our safeties have decent size with the exception of michael johnson but johnson has experience and has made a lot of tackles.

on offense, i hope they play holland because we need a third threat besides norwood and curry and no one really stepped up last year. we should have plenty of choices of people to return kicks. not much experience on the o-line, the jucos from last year will be counted on, luke mccown told me he thinks baggot could step in at tackle right away.

We have got to find someone to replace our pitiful safety play last year. Our coverage was atrocious from their position and they did make tackles but I want to see better speed back there than from the Johnsons-Play Orlandis Williams and give Sam Washington a chance to show what he can do. Then break in Ricardo Jeanlouis some to play next year. We have no safeties. Bradley Thompson where did you sign? Maybe he'll walk on this year or something.

We'll also have to squeeze Jason Thomas 6-4 190 WR in there someplace as well as MT Tyeskie 5-11 225 RB, who should be back from his ACL injury.

I hope JT makes a name for himself in spring and shows he's ready to play. Then the coaches can squeeze him into the starting lineup with DJ, Davis, Alton, and Norwood when we go 5 wide and that is great size and speed. 6'4, 5'10, 6'1, 6'1, 6'1 and all run sub 4.5!

i wonder if mt could step in at safety? i forgot about jason thomas, i would love to see him and gransberry atone of the wr spots. hopefully gransberry will make his grades, we need someone to throw the ball up to.

gooddawg, that would be great if bagot was a guard, we will have 6-5 + and 300+ across the whole o-line in the next couple of years.

I'd love to see them move Tyeskie there he has speed and his knees might not take as bad a beating there. I wonder if he played any D in HS?
I could be wrong about Bagot being a guard but I know I read a quote somewhere than he played inside and thinking it would be great to have his 6'6 320+ lbs making holes for Moats and Givens. I was a little suprised and that is why it stuck out to me.

With Davis and Moats back, should we redshirt Shelton Richardson? What do you guys think?

I'd like to see him RS so Moats and Davis can carry the load. Moats didn't do enough last year or get enough carries to NOT RS so why do we need 3? I know there is a chance of injury but we also ahve Allyn Sloan who is no slouch and we could always play him later if need be. Then when Ralph is gone, Richardson has 2 full years to play. Who knows what will happen. This is a lot like the scenario we had last year with Joe and Davis, but Davis didn't play enough as a RB to show us what he can do.
