Kirk was pulled in the eighth. He was great. Cruz hit a homer off of him in the first with a runner on base. He gave up another run in the second and walked in one in the eighth. Tucker did great in relief. Dawgs scored two in the sixth and one in the ninth. They had one less run, one less hit, and three errors (on hard hit balls) to Rice's one. (Only their fourth of the year). There is a lot to be proud of with this team. The w's aren't stacking up right now but they look good. Real good. The future is bright.

Tabor came within about 2 feet of tying the game up on his double in the bottom of the 9th -

He hit it to the absolute deepest part of the park -

TECH plays scrappy ball - they seem to just hang around and hang around and seem to always be in the game at the end -

We are a QUALITY STARTER and ONE GOOD CLOSER from being a good, if not very good team -

Once again the walks put ALOT of pressure on the defense, but Adam threw one whale of a game - 11 K's - I think...

I was very disappointed at the number of people RICE brought - Nebraksa brought down about TWICE as many...

Coach Sim is awesome, he brings serious discipline to the table and that is what we needed in our baseball program. If he stays w/ us, we are 2-3 seasons away from being really really consistently good.
