Dawgs take season series against SJSU 4-2

Not a terrible weekend but we should have taken 2/3 from them. We are making opposing pitchers, no matter who they are, look like Nolan Ryan, the strike out king. I have no ideal what the team strike out record is but I believe we might shatter it this year. We struck out 14 times in one game and 10 the next. It appears this is a regular occurence after looking at the boxscores this year. It is hard to score runs when you are striking out like that.

BTW the News-Star inside headlines read like this yesterday:

I thought we won our first game as a member of the WAC in San Jose last year, then dropped the next two?

I don't think we won the first two AT SJSU, I think we may have won at home against SJSU.

Good, according to the Tech athletic website, we did go 1-2 in San Jose last year, winning the opener. I guess my old timer's memory isn't near as bad as my wife would have me believe!

You very well could be right. I was relying only on the News-Star article. Thanks for the clarification. WE need more road wins next year that is for sure!
