I don't know how many of you are weather nerds like I am but the computer models predicted yesterdays tornado outbreak TWO days ago and many lives were likely saved because of the advanced warning systems they have in place in tornado alley. Many still lost their lives. Today the danger window is a little more to the east and the southern edge of it includes Shreveport and many other areas in a northeastern path all the way to Detroit and all the way east to Atlanta. All signs point to another busy day although I pray it is not as bad as yesterday.

Be careful today folks. Keep a local weather outlet open and heed any warnings. Yesterday spawned tornadoes that I predict will eventually be rated at least F4. In one of the films they showed houses cleaned off their foundations. That is classic F5 damage. I am not sure the exact technical details of how they rate tornadoes but these are dangerous storms.

Finally, and most importantly, may God be with those who lost loved ones in yesterdays horrific outbreak.

For all of you in the danger areas ... keep these pages up, especially the first one.

Up to the minute severe weather warnings ...
They issue tornado warnings by DOPPLER and often times these do not actually cause damage ... Thank God. Still. They are current. There have been well over 50 issued since midnight.

These are "reports" ... It is usually a few hours behind. There were 5 tornadoes at last count. Add that to 85 from yesterday.
