Interesting article in today's USA Today about Evangel and their football program. I didn't know they were playing such a tough schedule this year - including playing DeLaSalle in California.

Interesting article in today's USA Today about Evangel and their football program. I didn't know they were playing such a tough schedule this year - including playing DeLaSalle in California.
Duron, also the chancellor at Evangel, was the starting quarterback in 1972-73 at Louisiana Tech, a few years after Terry Bradshaw's run at the Shreveport school.
How pathetic. I thought the USA Today was supposed to be a better paper than that. They don't even know where the school is located. Looks like we still have a long way to go.
It also mentioned Chris and Pat Tilley, but didn't say either one played at Tech. That would have been nice. Overall I enjoyed reading it though.
