I'd like to take this moment to give a big ATTA-BOY to Dr. Dan Reneau for being involved in this. Way to stay on top of these things Dr. Reneau. We appreciate it the dedication you're showing by taking action with these other schools.

Just quickly glancing over that list, I didn't see Boise State or Hawaii listed. Hmmm.......

stAte was on Dr. Cowen's conference call. The initial report listing participants was not 100% accurate.

Here is a 2003 conference breakdown with the schools not represented listed. I included Arkansas State as being represented.

WAC--8 of 10 (Boise State and Hawaii)
CUSA--9 of 11 (Cincinnati and Louisville)
MWC--5 of 8 (Air Force, Colorado State, and UNLV)
MAC--12 of 14 (Akron and Eastern Michigan)
    SBC--8 of 8
    Non-BCS Independents--2 of 3 (Connecticut)

Three of the 10 schools not represented were obviously Big East-related (Connecticut, Cincinnati, and Louisville).

Also not represented were future Big East reject Temple and newest Division I-A member (for 2004) Florida A&M. If FAMU meets the I-A sports and scholarship criteria, attendance should not be much of a problem with a 2002 average of 18,048.
