Many Americans seem to think so.

Considering exit polls indicate that a large percentage of voters (something like 90%) had made their mind up in the California elections prior to the news release about Ahnolds past, I am starting to think that even those on the left do not trust the media to be honest with them. Everything has to be political and sensationalist stories designed to affect voter positions are being ignored in the weeks leading up to elections. It is amazing how many folks think those stories were fabricated just because of their timing. If the point was to try and sway voters minds, I would give it an A for effort and a big fat F for effect.

The sad thing is that if those accusations are real, it will be more difficult now to get folks to buy it. After all, since no election is on the line, the media won't care nearly as much and since the statute of limitations has passed on all of the accusations, where is the news in that?

The press had better get back to dispensing the truth in as unbiased a manner as possible. I saw a science article that took time to bash the Catholic Church about an event that could only be perceived as slightly related event. The main content matter would have remained unaffected if the statement had been left out. It was extranous fluff. The sad thing was, it was factually inaccurate and grossly misrepresented the position of the church. I corrected the writer but never saw a response or a retraction on the matter. And for you Fox nuts .. this was Fox News. So much for accuracy in reporting.

Quit the editorializing. All of you. We are tired of it.

I think Arnold got the "doubt" factor where the allegations were concerned

    - and the left actually hurt themselves by bringing out the false HITLER supporting accusations before "groping" issues -

Plus, Arnold was a "movie star" when it happened and most people looked at it as someone sowing their oates instead of an elected official having relations or sexually harrassing someone while they were in office...

And Arnold basically said two things - he was against BIG government and he wanted to cut taxes - he never once laid out a plan to due it, but he said what the people wanted to hear -

Especially, when Davis was pushing MANDATED health coverage in the private sector NO MATTER THE COSTS - giving illegal immigrants the right to a driver's license, which in turn under CA law allowed them to vote, he also raised the cost of in-state tuition, while giving free tuition to illegal aliens -

People on the left coast sent a strong statement that they don't want MANDATED socialism...

    Put that's just my thoughts...

I'm certainly not for allowing illegal immigrants to vote. That would be ridiculous. However, despite all of the complaining about the illegal status of the Mexicans crossing the border and working here, the truth is, our economy needs these workers, because Americans won’t do the jobs anymore that the Mexicans risk losing their life to get. If we were to rid ourselves of the Mexicans in north Louisiana, the chicken industry would be in a world of hurt.

The problem is, because we will not go ahead and process these people and give them green cards, which is the common sense thing to do, the market continues to demand their labor, and they’re going to keep coming in. When they first get here, they are perfectly happy to ride in the back of a farmer’s truck when they need to go somewhere. They live dirt cheap, and save their money. The next thing you know they buy a car. But, because we won’t give them a green card, Louisiana won’t give them a license. Because Louisiana won’t give them a license, then they cannot buy insurance. Thus, when they get in an accident they cause, then there is no insurance to cover the damages. For those of us who purchase uninsured motorist coverage, this drives up the cost of our coverage.

The answer to the whole problem is to process these guys, get them their green card, get income taxes for the wages they earn and get them insured like the rest of us.

What a crock of liberal bull scatum! I live in Houston and can trump any arguement you think you have regarding the necessity of illegal aliens to our economy. Illegal aliens are just that illegal...they are leaches on our public health systems and education systems. They drive up the tax basis for all our citizens.

I have ZERO problem with aliens that arrive here and process legally, but this crap about the poor illegal aliens is just that...crap!

Illegal aliens should be sent home...TODAY!

If we process everyone wanting a greencard to work in the US, it heavily taxes the healthcare system, public utilities, and other public social programs aimed at providing aid to those in the poverty level, and no you do not have to be a citizen of the US to show up at a shelter and recieve aid. This is a big problem that California is facing right now, Davis gave a US right of drivers licenses and social programs to the illegal latin community and the public got pissssssed and recalled him for it because their tax dollars were not being reinvested back to the citizens but to the illegals.

Employing illegals drives up unemployment rates and those that apply for unemployment, and to give a free ticket green card to everyone wanting employment in America is a total liberalistic thought, because it passes the rights from those who have them to those who don't. You will not see 1 republican in office with this thought process, because they know how bad these immigrants tax the local and federal goverments for health care, social reform, after school activities that are usually a crock and law enforcement. All of which comes from the federal goverment through paid taxes from its citizens, and frankly I'm tired of throwing my tax money to programs that we don't need or could avoid by encouraging those abled bodied lazy a$$ american's who do not want to work because they think that manual labor is below them and would rather live on food stamps and unemployment. Letting all immigrant come to this country to work because there is an available job because someone else is to lazy to take it is the easy way out. And that is total horse crap.

P.S. We will never give green cards to all these guys anyway, not with the cyrrent system after the homeland security system was put in. It will cost the government too much money. So most for now will continue to get tax free checks, and will recieve free health care when they go into the emergency room, and we will continue to pay higher premeiums on all of our insurance needs.

Undocumented workers in the USA pay billions more in taxes than they receive in benefits. If you want to expel the 10,000,000 or so that are here you better be ready to tighten your belt.
