You are not going to get too many responses in this thread because the people on this board knows we are probably next.
Actually, reading about the 0-12 ULXs, provides a bit of comfort. We won't be the first to go down.Originally Posted by gdawg

We aren't going down. There is no comparison.
ULM sells more season tickets than us so we got NO room to make fun of anyone.
true but...Originally Posted by Gooddawg

1 seat in Tech's pressbox suite for ONE game would get you two seats in the Nest for about 2 years at Malone.
BIG DIFFERENCE
ULM's season ticket prices are a complete 1A joke
Although...we might want to try this one on for size.
ULM advertises on TV every season for season tickets...guess who doesn't.
DAMMIT ADVERTISE...NOW!!!
yes, but....Originally Posted by Rossp917

I think the guy at KNOE has gotten much better in his Tech coverage even though we suck - maybe he would work with us on something????!!!!!????
We could always take the ULM approach. Season ticket for 5 home games = $30, best seats in the house.
Since they are going to be the "home" team against Arkansas next season, will Hog fans get a long-overdue break on their tickets?
Ad in the Democrat-Gazette next August: "Watch Your Louisiana Indians host the Arkansas Razorbacks in War Memorial Stadium for only $24 for a family of four."
Free advertising is better than NO advertising...
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
That is a good point FIM and I think our tickets are cheap enough now. We certainly don't need to stoop to their level of basically giving away season tickets to get people at the game but we need to do something. Saturday was embarassing and if I were president I'd have held a meeting first thing Monday morning and wanted to know what was up? NO ONE is interested or excited about TECH football outside of the faithful 15-16k. and they are not coming to even the First game in Ruston against the defending WAC champs.
