Talk Radio slamming Tech today

Oakes is getting raked over the coals by The Locker Room and Bayou Sports Line.

Both shows today said the same message - that no CUSA invite is coming to Tech and that the WAC will extend invitations to western schools. Bayou Sports Line hopes that Tech does get a CUSA invite.

Both shows hit these topics:

1. Tech has failed to capture Shreveport and Monroe
2. Tech's travel expenses are just too much
3. No CUSA invite is coming to Ruston
4. Oakes has created a relationship nightmare with the Sunbelt
5. Tech can not surive as an INDY
6. Tech failed to take advantage of the winning seasons
7. Tech lies about the number of fans at games

Gene Ponti HATES Tech. I do not know what we did or did not do to him. He just has an anger that is unreal

One of the guys even stated that Tech's administrators act like they do not even want the press in Ruston and Tech treats the press like total crap when the Monroe media goes to Ruston.

The Locker Room went on to say the Ruston is a hell hole and a complete joke of a college town.

Folks, Tech was hit hard today on the airwaves in NELA.

FIM, I heard it as well today. It got worse as the call-ins started. Of course, 1440 barely gets out of Monroe, and there is no doubt that most of the callers were Northeast fans.

Well, I could really care less about what Injuns think about Tech. We have never had respect from anyone in Monroe, and probably never will get any. Let them keep supporting NEJC.

I am glad they slammed us. Maybe this will get some Tech fans angry enough to fight back and start being proud enough of our school to work harder to improve it.

I REALLY hope it starts with changing some of the attitude on this board lately.
