CUSA sorta' likes having 2 members in the Metroplex and has no problem with that near as much as those from Louisiana Tech do. Sure they would prefer it be TCU but the MWC seems to have other plans for the Horned Frogs.
Gee, you've got it all figured out, don't you? All these wonderful sources in Dallas, at SMU, in CUSA and the MWC AND at the University of Houston! Don't tell me...you have antlers and a buddy named Rocky, right?[/quote:889de06497]

No, I don't have it all figured out, but others from all the other aformentioned schools seem to have a handle on most of what is happening concerning the subject of CUSA's future without TCU.

8O I can not believe somebody from Texas would put LBJ in that list. He was the Edwin Edwards of Texas with a little more class and just a tad better at hiding his evil deeds  :P .[/quote:d7c8cf6ecc]
    .................................................. .................................................. .....

LBJ's Civil Rights bill was hardly what I would call an evil deed, but we know some of you in the Deep South haven't yet received the news of that "LBJ signed" bill.

LBJ inherited the Viet Nam war and had JFK loyalists in his cabinet such as Robert S. McNamara, Dean Rusk and others giving him bad advice on this war.

Go visit the LBJ Presidential Library near Darrell K. Royal Memorial Stadium on the University of Texas campus and then see if you want to compare LBJ to your Edwin Edwards.[/quote:d7c8cf6ecc]

I'll give him the Civil Rights bill but his rise to and use of power in S. Texas was pretty bad. Talk about voting fraud and various strong arm tactics ect....

And no matter what you say, he will always have the Viet Nam stink on him.

As far as the LBJ Library is concerned, Edwards will never have one of course :P What an embarrassment. However, LBJ's Library is very nice. Been there and done that!

Well, from reading message board across CUSA, it looks like Army/Navy might just take that TCU spot if TCU leaves a spot open. How can anyone pull against our military academies?!?!

Hey, Green with Envy, doesn't your double-wide need washing? Or maybe you need to do a little tinkering on that 78 Ford.

UNT - where you go to school when you can't get in anywhere else!

If TCU leaves for the MWC, Army and Navy cannot fill that spot under the proposed alliance plan with only 11 other members and allow C-USA to hold a conference championship game. 12 conference members are required to play a full round-robin schedule within their division (minimum 5 games) for a conference to be eligible for a championship game.

    Norman Miller (President/Founder, Interstate Batteries)
Rhys Best (President, Lone Star Steele)
Linda Hefner Woltz (CEO, Sara Lee Hosiery)

Craig Way (Radio voice of the Texas Longhorns)

Mark Followell (Radio voice of the Dallas Mavericks)

George Dunham (Dallas Cowboys stadium announcer, Voice of Mean Green FB/BB AND has a top rated "drive to work" show on the USA's #1 rated all-sports radio station, ie, KTCK 1310 "The Ticket"; a sports station that national sports shows are now copying the pioneering methods and style of the Dallas radio station)

You have way too much time to kill. Don't ya think you better get back to looking for a job. I'd hate for REPO man to come haul off your double-wide.

Hey, Plumb finally shows he has a sense of humor. Good one!
However, it shows how shallow your thinking is to buy into that Bradshaw connection.

Oh they do, do they? So list all of La Tech's rich and famous that anyone outside of the Pelican state would know about?

And on UNT alum "DR. PHIL?" Wouldn't you say he is laughing all the way to the bank? Actually, he has a Phd. in Psychology from UNT so he is hardly what I'd call a "shoot from the hip" pop psychologist. Even Oprah said she was impressed with all the skins "Dr. Phil" had on his office wall and probably would not have had him on her show had he not had all those skins (or degrees).

We are waiting for the La Tech list of rich and famous now! })

Ooooooooooh .... well I guess that changes everything!

As for the alumni list, I'm really not interested enough for a whizzing match. Maybe someone else will want to play with you.
