I don't know who we could have drawn for either game that would be better. Gotta think UTA is our best away option (not just because it's convenient for me, but for distance/recruiting as well). And GC is probably going to be their best (or close to it) team, so that's an RPI booster at home (compared to just about anyone we might have scheduled without this thing).

Can't imagine this isn't the last year though, the WAC is going through some more hard times.

Yep. GCU/Seattle to WCC. UT-RGV to SLC. That leave 4 Texas schools & 3 Utah Schools & 1 California. I can't imagine them staying together, but the SLC already has 11.

The field for the Homewood Suites Classic is complete, per sources. Featuring FGCU, Cal St. Bakersfield, FIU, and Northeastern.


Full Round Robin event at Alico Arena. Nov. 22-24.

Dates for the MTE are Thursday Nov 28th - Saturday Nov 30th.

Someone is not selling the program as they should - don't know if it's in the athletic department or on the coaching staff -

In basketball - the HC almost totally controls his own schedule -

I do know for a fact last year that Wood stepped in an made him pick up two games and drop two games to increase the level of difficulty of the schedule - yes there would of been one or two more NAIA or DII games on the schedule then there already were

I don't think we would be a hard sell for one of these tournaments either. We have been decent and some of the teams in these tournaments can't even claim decent.

I hadn't heard that, but that was a good decision on Woods part all the way around.

We were the winners of the inaugural GC Showcase, defeating UNC Greensboro, UIC & St. Bonaventure. That was the Junior year of Speedy, Appleby & Kyser. Hamilton & McRee were Sophomores.
