    Got a letter yesterday from TECH Baseball that dealt with the re-scheduling of three (3) weekend series. It was aimed at season ticket holders but I was wondering if anyone feels this needs to be posted in this thread. I will do it if anyone thinks it should be done.

    No, all the changes involve home series - one for travel, one for Easter and one for finals.

    The Friday-Sunday, March 26-28 series vs Hawaii has been changed to Thursday-Saturday, March 25-27. Start times remain the same, 6 PM, 6 PM and 1 PM respectively.

    The Friday-Sunday, April 9-11 series vs Nevada has been changed to Thursday-Saturday, April 8-10. Game times are 6 PM, 6 PM and 3 PM respectively.

    The Friday-Sunday, April 23-25 series vs Rice has been changed to Thursday-Saturday, April 22-24. Start times remain the same , 6 PM, 6 PM and 1 PM respectively.

    Those are bummer changes for us out of towners! If you work all week you can really catch only one game of the series instead of two if they were Friday - Sunday series. I doubt on Easter Sunday they'd have too many spectators on Sunday and folks are typically off on Good Friday anyway.

    Regarding your post about the Alabama game -- did Centenary move the whole tournament from March to April or has the game been taken out of the tournament and moved to April?

    No idea. The game I am talking about is in Tuscaloosa on Tues Apr 6 at 6:30 pm. Tree told me a couple of months ago and I have no idea why it is incorrect in the schedules. Guess someone in publications did a poor job of proofreading.

    I only have the "tenative schedule" that came with my ticket application but it does not even show a game with 'Bama in April. It does show a game with the Tide on 3/5 as TECH's first game in the 3-day Centenary tourney. It also shows TECH being at Fresno on April 2, 3 & 4 so if they play in Tuscaloosa on the 6th that will be some road trip!!

    I happened to look at the baseball schedule in tonight's Lady Techster program and it has the April 6 game at Alabama you mentioned whereas the schedule on the ticket application didn't. The Tide is also coming to the Centenary tourney so they and the Dawgs will meet twice this year.
