Baseball Schedule Rated Among the Nation's Best

RUSTON, La. – The Louisiana Tech baseball schedule has been rated the 16th toughest slate in the nation, according to www.boydsworld.com .

Tech will play 23 games against teams that competed in NCAA regionals a year ago.

Tech plays defending national champion Rice six times in addition to contests with Arkansas, Alabama, Southern Mississippi, Oklahoma State, Mississippi State and Lamar.

The Bulldogs opened the season by taking two of three from McNeese State, the defending Southland Conference Tournament champions.

Since 1998, www.boydsworld.com has been producing weekly baseball projected computer ratings and strength of schedule comparisons.
