I really enjoyed the game tonight. The game itself as well as the atmosphere in the TAC were great.

We (the fans) need to keep that up.

I assume that means we won, but can you spare some details for us out of town types?

Sounded like a good crowd. A game like that one is easy on my heart, but not quite as much fun to listen as one that is closer in score. Tech started off like gang busters, and never turned back. Never a question of who was going to win - just by how much.

Good job, Lady Techsters. Keep it up, and let's peak at the National Championship Game!!!!

It was basically just a beat down.
We started it off with a 12-0 run before Hawaii called a timeout, and eventually made a 3 point basket.
At half time the Techsters led 45-17.
The Lady Techsters had almost 3 times and many points as the Rainbow Warriors throughout most of the game.
We only outscored Hawaii by 10 points in the second half, but that was due to our primaries players only playing for a very small portion of the second half.
The fans cheered as Sarah Johnson made her first 3 pointer as a Lady Techster (at home at least).

We shot 53% from the field and ended up winning the game by 38 points 83-45.
The Techsters played great in front of over 3,500 fans.

TELL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT THE TECHSTERS(They are going places)!!!

    No. 6 Louisiana Tech 83, Hawaii 45
    Eds: Optional.
RUSTON, La. (AP) — Louisiana Tech coach Kurt Budke was pleased with the way his Lady Techsters played against Hawaii.
Amber Obaze scored 17 points to give No. 6 Louisiana Tech its 10th consecutive victory, 83-45 over Hawaii on Thursday night.
Tech (17-2, 10-1 Western Athletic Conference), which hasn’t lost since an 87-84 overtime loss at Rice on Jan. 5, won its 157th straight at home against unranked opponents. The Techsters also won their 92nd straight conference home game.
Tech led 16-3 after the first five minutes, and 45-17 at halftime en route to reaching 80 points for the eighth time during its streak.
“Efficient, that’s the best word I can use to describe this game for us,” Budke said. “When you can look back and find where you only took maybe four bad shots, played very well defensively and got a lot of players into the game, then you have to be very pleased.”
Amisha Carter added 15 points, ending her streak of four straight games with at least 20, and had eight rebounds to help Tech improve to 50-2 in the WAC since joining the league in 2000.
“They are head and shoulders above everyone else in the conference,” Hawaii coach Vince Goo said. “Come March, I think they are going to be awfully good.”
Jade Abele had 14 points, and Dalia Slia led the Wahine (5-14, 3-7) with six rebounds.
Goo said Tech’s defense should get just as much credit as its offense.
“We average 14 turnovers a game, but the turnovers were not so much us as it was Louisiana Tech,” he said. “They put defensive pressure on us, especially in the first half. They are amazingly quick and very well drilled defensively. I think a lot of credit needs to go to them.
