I drove by the stadium towards the end of the game and there were three errors for Tech. Wow
What's up with that?!?! Three errors after so many over the weekend?

Guess where I was tonight? (for about three innings at least) Maybe #2 will be better...
I'm no Dusty Baker, but maybe the Dawgs need to put in some extra work on LEARNING HOW TO FIELD A BASEBALL!!! They look like highschoolers out there.
Three errors it was, now officially 26 in 7 games. Four more unearned runs allowed to also total 26 over the 7 games. Combine those figures with 41 walks and 8 hit batsmen allowed and it's not hard to be 2-5 against even average competition.
Hopefully the weekend series with Nicholls State will get things headed in the right direction.
17 freshmen...
Givem time...
If this team can finish a few games above .500 they have a good shot at the post season...
However - Northwestern and the juco are the two local schools the Dawgs need to beat on a consistent basis to make inroads with the local highschool talent -
14-2 losses doesn't help...

By my count, we have 11 freshmen (not including redshirts) on the roster and 10 of them played last night. It can be painful, but we have to see what they can do for us. And early OOC is a good time to do it.
Every pitcher TECH used last night was a freshman. Brody Love had three or four good innings then either ran out of gas or NSU caught up with him. Our offense struggled (to say the least) - never hit a ball hard until the bottom of the 9th.
