    Tech got 14 hits in the opening (Friday) game against Nicholls State, to include HR's by Haygood, Tabor, Winters, Laird, and Alford. Meyer went six innings and got the win. Lacy pitched the 7th and Chedister went the rest of the way. Nicholls got 13 hits and the Dawgs were credited with four errors.

    The Dawgs' bats were hot last night. I was excited when I heard that the coaches moved the game to 6pm today so we can go watch the dunkin' dawgs then go watch the diamond dawgs. The other sports would never move a game for another sport on campus. Just for that, I'm going to watch the diamond dawgs tonight and everyone else should go support them also. I'm glad we finally have a coach at Tech who cares about the fans.
