They do here in Texas, as well, Aub. HogDawg is right. The sport is growing fast. This is one area that we have an advantage over the big name conference schools. We need to keep it up.

But did you check out what the ratings actually were?
basically .8 (ESPN) & .5 (ESPN2) compared to CBS's 5.8's for the men's tournaments - granted it is cable v o-t-a - but to say it is making great strides is a stretch...
Just because you have a $.60 and someone gives you $.20 it is still only a $.80 and it is no where near a $6.00...
When it hits a 2.0 and gets on O-T-A - I will be willing to listen to arguments...
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
GLM47 is RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How bout that glowing success wnba????????!!!!!!!!!!! Franchises barely hanging on everywhere.... They'd have folded already if the NBA wasn't pumpinp money in to sustain them... That won't last too much longer...
When they can start making layups, use just ONE fake move on the inside and try something other than throwing a lob pass into triple teamed players, then some MAY take it seriously!!!!!!!!
The people in CUSA, who we are desparately trying to be a part of, could give a "shit" about women's bball!!! Some of you don't want to acknowledge the truth!
Maybe when they can dunk, Memdawg?
It is so puzzling to me why people don't like the growth of wbb. Oh well, to each his/her own. Maybe the future will cut the bias down against women in sports. Personally, I think it is disappearing from all but a few people that are not willing to see new things.
For me, I am glad that we compete at the highest level in a sport at Tech. I am glad that the sport is growing. I am happy to see the high attendance at many programs.
Most of all, I am PROUD OF THE LADY TECHSTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !
Maybe I can say that about some of our other teams again some day.
