Wasn't that tried before without success and teams ran right through the Bulldog defense...then it was back to the 4-3 scheme with the same results?
Bick needs to get a clue. It's not the defensive alignment, it goes alot deeper than that.

I think that when we were shut down by Tulsa (they ran that scheme) and completely decimated by Rice, Bicknell wanted to utilize more speed up front. Besides Cage, our defensive front rarely pressured the ball anyway.

We could have had 5 down linemen, 4 linebackers and 4 d-backs and we would not have stopped Rice or Tulsa. It ain't the scheme. It's the mentality. The coaches do not get 50% out of those kids. We are waisting talent.

We will be running the same defense we have run for the last 7 years.....the 9-1-1 defense.
That's when you put 11 men on the field, and when the other team snaps the ball, you call for help!

I have an idea. Let's run Boise's defense. I love the way they constantly move around and show so many fronts and disguise their blitzes. Boise doesn't have near the athletes that we do, yet they still create havoc for most offenses.
