I just saw this on the WAC Board as posted by our "friend" Vic the Demon. Is this right? Where are all of the Tech baseball fans posting about this "PITIFUL" game? :roll:

La Tech routed again by Northwestern State

As Usual, La Tech stepped up in competition and was routed again in baseball. WAC teams, with the exception of Rice, stand little chance of competing with the good solid baseball teams of the Southland Conference.
Northwestern beat La Tech 14-3 last night to compliment a 14-0 whitewashing of La Tech earlier in the year in Ruston. Total baseball domination!
These victories further underscore that the experiment by La Tech to attempt to play at the highest levels is a farce. Other than womens hoops, which are on a downslide, La Tech is VERY mediocre in every other sport. This fails to mention the obvious shortcomings of La Tech when it comes to fan support or money.
Why would CUSA consider a school that sometimes draws 8,500 to home football games? I submit that La Tech is not even being considered, merely lip service to some administrators to string them along unless the few good teams left in CUSA bolt as well.
La Tech is on the fast track to the Sunbelt, and that is if they will have them.
