    Birmingham-Southern (Division 3) just advanced to the D3 Super Regionals


    Their college is SHUTTING DOWN permanently May 31st.


    If they advance to the D3 College World Series, they will be playing for a school that no longer exists

    Today, after 168 years, Birmingham-Southern College is shutting down due to financial instability.


    The BSC baseball team, backed by a $100K GoFundMe, begins play in the D-III College World Series this afternoon—for a school that doesn't exist anymore.
