Capital Area CHAMPS Meeting

The plans for the next Capital Area CHAMPS meeting have been finalized. The meeting will be on July 10th at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center, 4728 Constitution Ave (near College Drive and I-10). There will be a "Happy Hour" with light hors-d'oeuvres and a cash bar from 6:30 - 7:30 and the meeting will follow. Jim Oakes, Louisiana Tech Athletic Director, will be here to discuss the current and future state of Tech Athletics. There will be a $10 per person charge to cover the cost of the food and room.

Due to an illness in Jim Oakes' family, we have had to reschedule him for July 31st. All the details (time, location, etc.) will be the same. If you couldn't make the 10th, but would be able to make it on the 31st, please RSVP to brennan@tradeconstruction.com by July 23. If you recieved a flyer in the mail, please note that this is the same meeting, and a new flyer should be sent from Ruston this week with the corrected date.

Also, even though the meeting with Oakes was moved, several people expressed getting together anyway. Therefore we have reserved the party room at Buffalo Wild Wings from 6-9pm on July 10th. Nothing formal, just wings and beverage of choice! Hope you can make it.
