Can someone tell me what the hell we sent up to Fayetteville? Thanks to Hulu I got to watch most, if not all, tournament games. Of all the teams, Tech looked the most like a class b high school team. I honestly believe Grambling showed more effort and grit. This is the last collegiate sport I feel like we could compete with the big dogs and we looked like beyond trash.
No comment on the baseball team, but the fact a Hulu subscription includes ESPN+ and a lot of Tech games are played on ESPN+ factored heavily into our decision to leave DirecTV and go to Hulu.Originally Posted by LeggoDawgs
Nobody was more disappointed than the coaches and players.
It was also a bad weekend for the fans who were up there to support the team.
It's not all gloom and doom. We had a good year and a much better year than many of us expected after the way 2023 went.

It’s really pretty sad how the team’s worst overall performance showed up at the worst possible time. I can’t say how or why this happened. I do know that I liked this team of fielders minus how we tried to manage fight field. I really would’ve liked to see what the Dawgs could’ve done had they played up to their potential. Evidently we’ll never know since so far under Burroughs we never get there. If anything about this season influences Burroughs for the future it’s that Tech absolutely has to upgrade their pitching and that can only happen by getting a more competent pitching coach. As I’ve been screaming from the mountain top, Fouts isn’t the guy! In addition, Tech has to play a game that puts more pressure on the defense by bunting more, hitting and running more, stealing more and even challenge fly out throws by tagging up and running more. Tech is way too station to station on the base paths. Burroughs’ baseballology of playing by the philosophy of whatever happens, happens isn’t good for a program of Tech’s caliber. It sets up for too much underachievement. This summer is hugely important that our bench players to play some summer ball to knock the mold off of them for sitting the bench all season and to find some portal and juco guys to strengthen our ranks. Beyond a shadow of a doubt Burroughs and staff HAVE TO start developing the players they’ve recruited otherwise what’s the point of having high school guys come in. Having players sit the bench until they transfer out is simply a stupid way to manage your team’s future.
Just read some stuff over on Hogville, the Razorback fans are feeling just like us. With the resources they have and hosting a regional, they are very butt hurt.
Must really hurt too that their #1 guy got hit harder by KState than anyone else he faced all year.
I guess UConn should give up baseball also...

Nah, they just ran out of gas.
As much as LB wants to make a super regional, until Tech has at least one solid and consistent pitcher we will bounce at regionals.
Our pitching coach doesn’t help.
