My gripe was not running the ball on 3rd & 2 when you have a back like Moats! Unfortunately UH missed the extra point on their previous score and gave Jack the opportunity to send in Scobee on 4th down!

    COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CIRCUMSTANCES!!!

    1. Scobee was hurt! He has a pulled groin. He had missed an earlier field goal attempt against Hawaii and he didnt't have his leg strength. That is why the field goal missed by 30 feet left.

    2. It was 4th and 2. Do you try a 53 yard field goal with a injured kicker or give the ball to a running back who ran for 267 yards? I think we know the intelligent answer to that question.

    3. The Hawaii kick would have only tied the game, not won the game. In addition, Hawaii would have gotten the ball back with over a minute to play and two time outs.

Lets not revisit the Hawaii game anymore, please. The decision to kick was a huge blunder. The Jacksonville game yesterday is a completely different situation.
