    Interesting Information on Coaches Salaries

I found this information while looking for some coaches salaries. This information lists some SEC and ACC's schools salaries for assistants and coordinators. I realize this isn't a time to be talking about coaches...and this is not the direction this message is intended on. But as of last year and some of this year...questions have risen about how much certain big time BCS assistants are paid and etc. This is from 2003 and from an Atlanta newspaper.I had to do two posts...so all the info. is on the reply.

Information provided by the schools in response to public records requests. Duke, Wake Forest and Vanderbilt are private institutions not subject to open records laws. Virginia failed to disclose its salaries. Georgia Tech's salaries are for the 2002-03 school year except for Jon Tenuta's which already has been approved for 2003-04.

Perhaps the longest post. It was in a nice little table...but the board wasn't too receptive of taking that format and length for some reason. But is was good info. so I had to share

Thanks for the post; it is interesting information. Now I'm curious what Tech looks like in comparison.

How can Kentucky have that budget and put their product on the field year after year? Unbelievable.

Fans in the seats. Corporate sponsors. Great marketing. AND best of all it seems that don't spend much on product improvement.

Re: Interesting Information on Coaches Salaries

I still would like to see if

QB Coach Steve Ensminger at Auburn would be interested in a OC slot again (even if he was a LSPOO grad). However, paying a quarterbacks coach at Auburn $130,000 might not work for the same money as the OC position at TECH but it would be a promotion. Seems like he was a pretty good OC for us at one time. Do we pay our OC that much now? Heck, maybe he is ready for a HC shot. He knows the local southern football areas we would need to recruit. Anyone have an idea? Then again Tim Rose could fit the HC position as well. I just worry about the lack of southern roots and recruiting.

I think I need to quit my liberal arts major here at Tech and start tacking some Physical Education classes. That just shows how much those schools invest in their programs, and I promise you that when they are recruiting high school kids, that is something the recruits look at right away. It shows that they are dedicated to their football program.

Our John Blake, originally from Jonesboro-Hodge, was most recently the DA in Jackson Parish. I do not know if he has left the legal business but, I seriously doubt he would suddenly become a football coach.

Thanks Coach. I didn't know where Johnny was. His older brother, Dan, was a bright spot in my Spiritual development.
A preacher and a lawyer from the same family. GO BLAKES ! ! !
