On the opening drive of the 2nd 1/2 for the Niners, Tim just hit Brandon Lloyd for a 39 yard TD to give the 9ers a 24-21 lead. It was an unbelievable play by Tim. ala Joe Montana on a roll out all the way to the sidelines.
For the game Tim is 15 of 21 for 194 yards and 2 TD, no INT's and they just started the second 1/2.
I'm out in Cali, so I get decent coverage of the Niners here.
The announcers said a lot of really good things about Tim today throughout the broadcast. The biggest thing I noticed was that they always felt pretty confident he could keep them in the game. It sucks that he threw another late game INT though. But hell, no one can expect him to win consistently when his team gives up that many points.
Funny thing is that everyone knows how bad the Niners O-line is, to include the folks on this discussion board, but the announcers said on more than one occassion that the line looked really good. Not!
Rattay threw for 249 yards, 2 TD and on INT with a rating of 94.8%. Pretty good!

He's also smart enough to know that his arm is not 100% and that a pass in the flat is a dangerous one under normal circumstances.
