Re: "Halftime adjustment are overrated!"
Hey, but we won the first half. Oh wait a minute...no we didn't, but we sure taught young men how to play close...for one half

Re: "Halftime adjustment are overrated!"
Maybe Mack Brown will hold a seminar entitled "Making halftime adjustments against anyone except Oklahoma", and since its obvious that JBIII isn't gonna get canned for his ineptitude as a head coach, we can all pitch in to school him a little bit

Re: "Halftime adjustment are overrated!"
If JBIII had just come up with the "halftime adjustments are overrated" chant maybe we could cut him a little slack. But the idiot has been saying this REPEATEDLY for the last 4 years!!!!!!!!!!
And all you have to do is go back and look at the FACTS in most of our blownouts! In the vast majority of those games we were either ahead or in very close pursuit at halftime! Then the other team comes out and blows us away with THEIR halftime adjutments. WE on the other hand just keep doing what we did, and this makes the opposition's job that much easier. An exception of course is when we play the Auburn's, Miami's, etc. where the high quality depth is too much to overcome. but with teams like Boise, it is not the depth or player quality!!!! It is the poor coaching, period!!!!!!!!!
Can you imagine how surprised the opposition coaches are when they see that their 2nd half job just got a lot easier right after the 2nd half starts. Of course, I'm sure that by now the other coaches can relax and ride out the first half knowing that JBIII and Co. will hand them the game keys in the 2nd half!!
Then add to this our lack of conditioning and discipline and we are strictly a first half team!!!
