This is tough. If Jack somehow pulls off the win at Rice, he'll be 6-6 and 3rd place in the WAC. That's the kind of numbers he and his supporters will be able to cite as improvements. Factor in all the namby-pamby excuses about resources, fanbase, travel, etc and Jack and his supporters may be able to make the case that his one game improvement is all the more extraordinary.

If Jack wins in Houston, we keep him. Another embarrassing loss, and all bets are off.

I honestly don't think our players will rise to the occasion against Rice, especially our defense. I'm afraid Rice will run for another 600 yards and 6 TD's. On Tuesday, at noon, there will be a press conference announcing Bicknell's firing.
