Future schedules
I would rather play one team from a BCS conference in the top 25, a middle of the road BCS team, and two regional teams. This way we can still make a name for ourselves by beating the two regional teams and the middle of the road team, but still have that one money game. With that being the case, I think it is more important to go to a bowl game than to play in these stupid money games. We get more exposure by playing in those bowl games and we can recruit better. What recruit wants to hear "we play three money games a year that we have no chance of winning and the only to way to a bowl game is to basically win-out in conference." No one cares that Fresno St. and Boise St. aren't playing the USC's or the Cal's like we are doing over here in the south(Tenn., Miami, Auburn). All people and recruits see is the overall record and bowl appearances.

Re: Future schedules
After seeing this years season go bye bye...playing ULM doesn't sound so bad. I say pick them up..also 2 other crappy team, beat them..win a couple of conf...and be bowl eligible.
At this point we don't need a top notch SOS...we're not competing for a BCS bowl so why kill ourselves with playing teams like Miami, Tenn, etc.

Re: Future schedules
Boise and Fresno get it...play "usta beens." I'm excited about next years schedule because we appear to only have one bash our head in game. We need the money, so get it, but we've got to pad our schedule a little bit and make sure we're bowl elligible. If we drop Auburn and Tennessee and pick up two games that we can win, we're going bowling this year even with bick's inept coaching.

Re: Future schedules
I agree but alot on this board believe you should EASILY win 75% of your conference games EVERY year and easily go bowling.
It just doesn't happen that way.
