Boise drops 1 spot in the AP?

Are the media voters trying to keep Boise out of the BCS? With the heavy weight on the human polls in the BCS rankings, I find it interesting that Boise beats Nevada 58-21 while Va Tech beats Virginia to move up in the poll. Anybody find this interesting?

No change in the Coaches poll though.

other than Media see VaTech as a better team, I wouldn't read too much into it. I also feel there are 3 - 5 other teams that are behind Boise that would beat them. Just my opinion.


As far as Utah, I think they are legit in where they are ranked.

The only way to totally know is to play it off.

If they add a 12th game to the schedule, it will add approx 57 games.
If we had a 16 team playoff, it will add 7 games.
The NCAA's too many games excuse is BS.

Boise needs Southern Miss to beat Cal, and then needs probably needs some additional help.

If Matt Jones had not fumbled on Texas' one yard line, when all Arkansas needed was a field goal to beat the Horns, Tech might have gotten a much-needed gift of $2 million.

Here's the deal, though. Boise State doesn't sit around hoping some other WAC team will go out and make them some money. They take charge of their own destiny. If Hawkins stays, and the BCS doesn't make the field even more unlevel, Boise will bust the BCS one day. What will we be doing in the meantime?
