    Bark Louder

Anyone else getting inundated with this on socials?

This is fine if it's part of a broader push for exposure, but if they're just asking us to wear the same crap we've been buying at Walmart or B&N for the past decade, what's the point? Down here in LSU country EVERYONE puts those football/basketball/baseball season posters up in their office, but I've had a bear of a time getting those same posters from Tech. I have contacted everyone I know in the athletic department and the alumni association asking about how to get a football or basketball poster for my office, but the only way I've been able to get them is have my son's girlfriend go by the ticket office at the TAC. If you want us to do the work for you and promote the brand, you need to make it easier for us to do it. (for example, the alumni association should be handing those posters out for free at events in cities that aren't Ruston. They didn't even know what I was talking about when I asked at the last event I went to, which was a baseball game vs. LSU.)

I also wish they had given this to someone with a degree in graphic design before posting it. Ugh.

    Oh my. Kinda wordy, huh?
Did Tech marketing to ever police the flow of merch at Academy, Dick's, etc
This is a broken record but . . . here it goes again.

In October, the first of the Fourth quarter of the year, Academy in West Monroe stocks identical inventory of Tech and nlulm. By Thanksgiving, when Tech was a regular winner on the gridiron, the Tech stuff was essentially sold out and the NLULM items were not. This past yar, it didn't happen. . . but there was still less Tech stuff than Warchickens.
Do we have anyone going around to these types of stores YEAR-ROUND developing relationships with the managers or do we just let it slide?

I sincerely feel this is a grand opportunity for our marketing classes to do some local lab work and help themselves with a grade and spread the word about Tech and solidify our market.

It aint all about the Bookstore.
