From what I understand, the money was there last year from private sources and Big Nell cashed in some influence to save his job.

Should be the same situation now, only less expensive.

The fact that MichiganDawg "boycotted" the football program after they refused to fire a losing coach will actually work in HIS FAVOR!!! It proves that MichiganDawg UNDERSTANDS the relationship between "donations" to the university and the AD's job PERFORMANCE.

When any business (or Div 1A athletic department) depends on DONATIONS for its' livelyhood, it is imperative that the leaders of the business understand how their job performance can severely impact revenues. MichiganDawg obviously understands this. I just wish the folks in charge at Tech TODAY understood the same.

But that's the problem. You, JO and DR don't get it. MichiganDawg and the rest of us do.
