BYU: We hear they were released today
Clemson football coach Tommy Bowden fired defensive coordinator John Lovett and offensive coordinator Mike O'Cain on Tuesday morning, according to sources close to the situation.
Indiana football head coach Gerry DiNardo and his entire staff have been fired by the university.
Fort Hays State had candidates for the Head Football Coach position meet the public as they are coming in for their interviews. Two candidates are scheduled to interview in the next two days. Today's candidate was Garin Higgins, Head Coach, Northwestern Oklahoma State University (NAIA) in Alva, OK.

champion110, I don't know. It doesn't seem they are updating it. The Bicknell listing could have been from last week. They still haven't changed Cutcliffe's status to "gone."
Well, I pretty much lost hope of something happening. However, I still am watching. Stranger things have happened.
Just a thought, but is it possible that they were released and there's just nothing being said because Bick is applying elsewhere? Maybe the school did release them, but are trying to help Bicknell save face? I mean, it would probably hurt his chances if the school considering him found out he'd been fired, so maybe they're delaying the announcement until he finds out if he gets another job or not...
Just wishful thinking on my part, but it does look like the info posted on the website was updated. Then again, there's another theory: the website is just plain wrong.
mildawg, that would be very much against the flow of the way Tech does things. When he sent out his message following the Rice game that he expected Bicknell to be back that meant "We are not firing Jack Bicknell this year, so forget about it."
I know that, yet I allowed myself to dream yesterday. I'm now back to reality. He's here for at least another year, and the stream is carrying our oarless boat farther away from the promised land, while others around us have their outboard motors going, pushing ahead.
Has anyone had any response from Oakes Emails, etc.? Oakes is usually pretty good about sending a reply back no matter how stupid the response is. Just wondering if he has sent any of these stupid replies back to anyone.
No response yet. I didn't expect any response from Reneau (never got any in the past), but expected something from Oakes. But I would guess his inbox is completely full and it takes time to go through them all. Or he is saving time by not responding, at least not yet.
