    Hudson Akin's mom...

    June Akin passed away Friday. She had recently lived with Hudson and Karen in Columbia, South Carolina.

    Visitation with the family will be this Thursday (Dec. 9) 6 to 8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Crossett. Funeral at First Baptist Church, Crossett, 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10.

    Many of you remember Hudson as a Tech grad and eventually a vice president at Tech. He left Tech some years back to take a similar position at Ball State. Last year he accepted a position with the University of South Carolina.
