    I am waiting for the Rose Bowl, Pac 10 and Big 10 to decided they no longer want to be part of the BCS.

    Eventually we will get a playoff, it may not be in our lifetimes though...:bigcry: Enough of the big boys get hosed over (Cal, Auburn this year, USC last year) and things will change. It is just a matter of time...

    We won't see a playoff in the next 20 years at a minimum. Even if we did, the best you could hope for is a 4 team one -- which would be even worse than we have now. It would give the illusion of legitimacy while still screwing the little guy. Imagine being in Boise's position this year with a 4 team playoff.

    No matter how much Auburn screams, they'll take their medicine and come back next year. This has been happening for 30 years (Paterno complained bitterly about the polls' choice of Texas over PSU back in '69). By and large, the coaches like the bowl system. Many of them finish the season with a win. Something that doesn't happen in a playoff system.
