Let's start an email campaign to the AD at SLU pretending we don't want Hines to go. He's an awesome coach. The best OC in the nation. A hidden gem. Beg the SLU AD not to hire him away.
i hope conrad goes to slu. it will be a good promotion for him and we can get a better offensive coordinator.
of course if he wins there, he might be our next head coach in a few years.
We did hire a great coach from SLU once.

Like I said many times before that would be the greatest thing Conroy could do for himself and La Tech. He needs to see other offenses it will only help him. Do that and someday he may can return to head coach a La Tech team. UNLV recently hired an Off Coord. that worked at Florida with Spurrier. Spurrier told him to take the UNLV job over coming to South Carolina because he wouldn't learn anything new from him and it would serve his career better if he came out to UNLV to learn the new offense that was featured at Utah the past couple of seasons.
I agree, VD. I've said many times before that Conroy Hines needs coaching experience at other schools. He's been in Ruston far too long. This may be a great opportunity for him and his family. And for Louisiana Tech. We desperatly need some new blood in Ruston.
