Announcer just said Moats had a good career for an excellent coach at Louisiana Tech! Further proof announcers have no clue what they are talking about!

The exact statement was that Jack Bicknell, Jr., was the excellent coach. Too bad that Tech has jbiii instead of jbii.

At least we can get Moats to market our school. They need to put him back in the game.

Why on earth is Moats not getting more touches? They've got a Canadian running the ball and an Ivy leaguer taking snaps but no Ryan.

Don't you just love these "All Star" games? The punter from Ball State just punted the ball 12 yards on 4th down. I said TWELVE YARDS!

By the way, the WAC is well represented in this game. I see guys from Louisiana Tech, Fresno State, Boise State, Nevada, and Hawaii (at least 2 guys). Timmy Chang of Hawaii is doing his usual QB act; looking like a hereo on one play and a goat the next.

Lots of non-BCS school guys in this game. The Louisville guys look real good.

Hey, I just learned that Ruston is a 4-hour car drive from Shreveport. At least that's what the female announcer on TV said when describing a story about Ryan Moats. Hey...it's got to be true if I haerd it on TV.

As usual, we have to be grateful for even incorrect information about our towns and colleges!
I saw Moats run twice. Did he get to run later in the game?

You know while I was watching the game I had an idea for a all star game that people could really get interested in. Instead of an East/West or North/South game, why not have a BCS vs non BCS all star game. The way most of the players from CUSA, WAC, MAC, and MWC were playing today, I think we could have taken them.

I'm watching the replay right now on ESPN. Why exactly was Lefors wearing that Tech logo on his helmet?

It's something of a tradition for the players to take their school logos with them and swap. Some will put ones they like on their helmet. Guess Lefors liked the Tech emblem...he has good taste.
